MOROGO WITH TURNIPS AND POTATOES

 

2 bunches morogo

1 bunch spring onions, chopped

1 bunch turnips, peeled and diced

3 potatoes, peeled and diced

water

salt to taste

pepper to taste

45 g (1 oz) / 45 ml (3 T) butter / margarine

 

Rinse morogo thoroughly and chop finely.

Place morogo, spring onions, turnips, potatoes and a little water in a saucepan. Season with salt and pepper.

Let it boil and then simmer gently for about 30 minutes until cooked.

Add the butter / margarine and mix well.

Serve hot on pap

 

Serves 4 - 6.
