2 pounds dried apricots

2 pounds sugar

6 cups water

cup whole blanched almonds (optional)


Wash apricots. Boil in water until soft. Add sugar and simmer until fruit is translucent. Add almonds if desired. Bottle while hot and seal. Process 20 minutes in boiling water bath.


Makes 4 - 4 pints
