200 g Fonio
2 l Water
Wash fonio and remove
excess water in a kitchen towel. Boil water in a couscous pot,
add fonio slowly, and cover pot tightly so that steam does not
escape. Steam 20 minutes. Leaving the pot on the fire, remove the
fonio, mix with a little water, cover, and let stand for 5 - 10
minutes. Return fonio to couscous pot and steam 20 minutes.
Repeat operations 3 and 4. Mix with boiled okra and serve.
