MANGO CHUTNEY FROM SWAZILAND
4 green mangoes
1 small onion
1 cup lemon juice
½ cup sugar
pepper or hot chilies
table salt
Lay slices of mangoes and chopped onions in a dish, sprinkle with salt, and let stand for 1 hour.
Put all the ingredients in a pan and boil slowly until thick.
Pour into hot jars and seal.
