½ kg fish fillet
salt
2 onions, chopped
2 chopped tomatoes
½ c water
10 green cooking bananas
1 egg
2 tblsp flour
1 tsp curry powder
juice of 1 lemon
oil
Clean and cook the fish fillet with salt, 1 onion, tomatoes and a little water. Drain and mash. Peel and cook the bananas until soft. Drain and mash. Mix with the fish, egg, flour (enough to hold the mixture), curry powder and a little lemon juice. Shape into balls and fry in hot oil until brown.
Variation: Potatoes or cassava may be used in place of bananas.
